So, how do centralized cryptocurrency exchanges work? In basic terms, they operate as intermediaries between buyers and sellers.
The exchange maintains a trading platform where customers can deposit traditional currency or crypto, place orders, and exchange one asset for another. Unlike a decentralized exchange, a centralized exchange is controlled by a company.

Opening and Funding an Exchange Account
